Just For Fun

We bought a new camera the other day. I hate how it makes me look and sound. Darn Camera. Anyway, we did a little bit of horsing around at lunch today so we thought we would put up a video on YouTube and see how it looks. Comments are welcome with respect to the quality of picture and sound but not the subject matter. 🙂

A few technical glitches had given away your idea away before you launched your site. It was pointing to a Facebook optimizer.

Hi Gine. We haven’t had any “technical Glitches” yet, although I am sure we will 🙂 I think what you are referring to is the fact that http://www.VendAsta.com was hosted by http://www.joyent.com/ . These guys do happen to have a Facebook accelerator.

In any case, it doesn’t “give away our idea”. We have been pretty vocal about the fact that we want to help the real estate community leverage the power of existing social networks to help them connect with home buyers and sellers in a meaningful way. Facebook is a pretty big part of the social graph, has an open platform and will definitely be a part of our initial offering.

The “Secret Sauce” is how we will actually leverage and connect the plethora of existing social networks to the real estate industry in a way that is actually useful and worthwhile for the consumer and the industry.

  3. Brendan,

You’re a natural in front of that camera! Love the idea, the knowledge you share. You didn’t mention what type of camera you purchased? Looking forward to seeing your continued success.
