I think that this is where agents are missing the boat - we seem to be too paranoid about who is using our information or who is controlling our information (leads and contacts I can understand - listings, I really don&#039;t). The bottom line is that we control that information, but what we choose to do with that information is critical - it&#039;s also one of the downfalls by most real estate agents.

We fail to look outside our own world of real estate and see what the public wants (read that: demands). This is why companies like homegain, housevalues, househunt, etc. are even in business. They have done the research and are providing the public exactly what they are demanding = easy to find information in a non-threatening manner.

If we embrace the flow of information - exactly as Google is doing, then we will benefit also. How? By giving the public what they want and more importantly... &quot;how&quot; the want it.]]></description>
